The rationale behind it:
The IRS allows in its code gift-giving-the Gift Tax Limit, ala 26 U.S. Code Subtitle B Chapter 12 - GIFT TAX, also known as the gift tax exclusion, is $19,000. This amount is the maximum you can give a single person without having to report it to the IRS. For married couples, the limit is $19,000 each, for a total of $38,000. The process: The website launches the week of 22 February. Before that, there are weekly Zoom-meetings, Monday-Thursday starting at 5p-Pac/8p-Eastern. The Zoom is scheduled to last for an hour with the host and originator of the program, Matt. It usually runs longer with Matt answering questions and comments.
