Not just and concerning the civil sanctions; even without and prior to that: being seen as estranged and out-of-step with the choreography of the social consensus. In that social juxtaposition, you're already a social outlaw, deserving little consideration-let alone any sympathetic consideration.

Your existence is tolerated in the anonymity of any knowledge of your thinking and attitude. Much as any stranger, until you come-out-of-the-closet with your unmuted contradictory notions to the contemporaneous social narrative. Up until then, you're assumed to be like the rest of the 'stepford' masses that go along to get along within the limits of thought and aspirations of the other docile programees of the social order.

Just as intolerable as any of the heinous crimes that break the social peace and order, your iconoclastic and idiosyncratic attitudes are an affront and insult to the social body, because those attitudes and assertions bring in to question the inherent nature of others motivations and purposes. That inferred questioning by you challenges the validity of their efforts of acceptance to a heralded identity in a culture where being a useful, popular, or commercializable brand is the key to affirmative recognition by others.

You will be shunned for not what you have done to others, but for who you are to yourself. You belong to a social code of coherence, if not explicit adherence: as far as others are concerned. That code is ruthlessly applied upon those without the economic status of emotional self-reliance to have a mercenary to cynical arrangement with the mandarin thinking that would otherwise hurl mental emotive stones at the soul who dared go beyond the boundaries of coherence.

The emotional extortion of isolation is used to punish, if not bring you back in penitent  obsequiousness to the rhetorical choreography by which others follow the herd-like platitudes that comprise the meaning of this unquestioned 'reality'. If you've been socially trained for being a part of such a social womb of security, then you'll have the dreaded anxiety of this abortion-like excommunication from those with whom your past was comprised.

In this ex-communicative abortion from your past exists the reality of the freedom of your future. That future is a self-affirmation to virtues of your conscious resolve. It is the emotion and thought driven conceptions of your own procreation with the moment as YOUR partner and not something to which you must have a license for which to even have an association. The moment is your opportunity of self-discovery and nurturing for that unwritten destiny, which vaguely exists as the vision of your insights and dreams. With this vision you have branched from the entangled root system of consensuality's paradoxes and have sought out those gems of valuable nourishment for your own and the holistic good, than just the transactional accommodation of your cultural and social environment.
